Animal Print Inspired Bracelet with Marquis Fringe Chain
I fell in love with the Marquis Fringe Chain in gunmetal the first time I saw it. I thought it was fun and sassy.

The chain is perfect for creating a bracelet (or earrings, necklace, or anklet as well) with its marquis shaped pieces of chain that dangle off the base chain.
I decided to use seed beads (stacked — for textured variation), an assortment of freshwater 4mm pearls, and coin shaped gemstones. Animal prints inspired me to use earthy browns with the gunmetal chain. I selected a spring ring clasp because its bold design went nicely with finished product.
With that, I chose a pattern and wire-wrapped the beads on the dangles using headpins. (Note: The thin headpins are best for wire-wrapping beads to the chain. However, the thick headpins are necessary for wire-wrapping the chain to the clasp because that is the region where the bracelet will receive most force and you want to make sure that the bracelet is strong and secure).

I hope that this design has inspired you to create your own! Feel free to use it for inspiration, and mix up a design to make it original. Be sure to look at the same components – including other marquis fringe chains – in other metals.
